1 NOTE Maureen Elliot Johnson has a letter that her Great GrandmotherRuhamma (Knadler) Sprinkle had written to "Mrs. W. Guy Miller"on 2/25/1941. It was mailed from New Rochelle, NY andcontained information on family history, apparently in answerto a letter sent to her by Hester. The letter was given to meby Lorraine (Sprinkle) Williams on June 22, 1993. Lorraine wasHester niece.I have a letter that my Great Grandmother Ruhamma(Knadler) Sprinkle had written to "Mrs. W. Guy Miller" on2/25/1941. It was mailed from New Rochelle, NY and containedinformation on family history, apparently in answer to a lettersent to her by Hester. The letter was given to me by Lorraine(Sprinkle) Williams on June 22, 1993. Lorraine was Hesterniece.

1 NOTE OBITUARY - MARTINSBURG, WV Friday, December 19, 1919
MRS. REBECCA SPRINKLE - Mrs. Rebecca Sprinkle, aged 73,widow of W.A. Sprinkle, died at 6:45 o'clock Wednesday eveningat the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. H. Russler, 133 EastMartin street. The deceased had been in failing health forsome time past. It had been her custom to spend her decliningdays around with her children and near relatives and she hadonly come to Mrs. Russler's home the latter part of November.Mrs. Sprinkle was a native of Berkeley county, being born nearGreensburg, and was a Miss Welshans before marriage. Herhusband, who died some 25 years ago, conducted a grocery storeon North Queen street and both were widely known throughout thetown and county. She is survived by three children, Mr. AlvinSprinkle, of LeMoyne, Pa.; Mrs.. Flora Mcquilkin, ofHarrisburg; Mrs. Russler, of this city; one brother, Mr.Wesley Welshans, North Queen street, president of Berkeleycounty court, and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Sprinkle, nearGreensburg. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
The funeral will take place from the late home Sunday afternoonat 2 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. W. F. Gruver, pastor of FirstUnited Brethren Church will officiate.
