C. 4th Regiment, Arkansas Infantry, Confederat Army; was surrendered and discharged 1865. Farmer and member Masons. Lived in Overton County, Tenn., then in Carroll and Boone Counties, Ark.

He married in Carrol County 9 June 1857 Elizabeth Sneed, daughter of Charles and Jane (Coker) Sneed, born in Osage 13 Nov. 1839 and died 20th Dec. 1916. Thomas W. Fanchr served as a lieutenant in Howells Battery, Confederate Army, in the Civil War and surrendered in 1865. He was a farmer and a Mason. Moved from Tennesse to Arkansas in 1838.
