Y., ELIZABETH CROSBY, daughter of jacob W. and Jane (Warren) Crosby, born 27 Nov. 1825 and died 24 Beb. 1855; married, secondly, 24 April 1856 in Nassau, N. Y., MARY WESTFALL, daughter of James J. and Amelia Caroline (Van Ness) Westfall, born in 1835 in Nassau and died 10 Dec. 1900 in Worcester, Mass. Was a jeweler and silversmith. Lived in Brooklyn, Attleboro, Springfield and Providence, between 1876 and his death.

Text:   She created much interest in medical circle. Following a street car accident she was bedridden for 50 years and eight days. For nine years she was in a trance-like condition during which she dictated some 6,900 letters and gained a reputation as a clairvoyant.

Y., 14 Sept. 1797 to HANNAH RAYMOND, daughter of Samuel Raymond, baptised 28 Nov. 1779 and died probably about 1826. Samuel Fancher was farmer and shoemaker. He bought land in Tioga, N. Y., in 1815 but probably never lived there. He was in South Salem in 1820 and New York City in 1835 and 1840. All the children, except Rufus, took the nam of "Fanshaw."
